Getting To Castle Rock

Castle Rock is one of Girraween’s southernmost walking tracks and is located near the Queensland and New South Wales border. 

The Castle Rock track begins on the southern side of Pyramids Road, near Girraween’s visitor Centre. There are two access roads that lead to the centre, both of which are covered by Aussie Park Guides.

Thrill at seeing the looming formations of Castle Rock up close and marvel at your endurance as you reach the summit. The track varies from gentle to moderate trails until the steep climb over Granite rocks truly gets your blood pumping and your heart beating!
